As Soon As He Starts Showing These Signs, Run As Fast As You Can

Falling in love usually only turns out only one of two ways: happily ever after or complete and utter heartbreak. The dating game is a total gamble. You can roll the dice, but you never know if you’ll hit the jackpot or lose it all… or can you? Some men are riskier than others, so increase your odds of finding true love and look for these 10 signs of a man who isn’t worth the risk of heartbreak:

1. He doesn’t text back.

At least, not in a timely manner. If he’s that inconsiderate, just imagine what a terrible boyfriend he would be. Are you really willing to risk your heart on a guy who can’t find five free seconds in his day to text you back? If he can’t be bothered to send you a simple message, then he’ll never find time for a relationship. Remember that.

2. You can’t tell if he’s actually interested.

If you’re questioning his feelings from the beginning, then you’ll never feel secure in the relationship. You’re always going to wonder if you’re really the girl he wants or if he even cares about you. You should be able to tell whether or not a man has actual feelings for you, and if you can’t, then the possibility of heartbreak isn’t worth the risk.

3. He makes you feel insecure.

You’re a great girl, and you deserve a guy who can see that. You need to be with a guy who thinks you’re a catch and who knows he’s lucky to have you. If a guy makes you feel like you’re not good enough the way you are and like you need to change yourself just to be with him, then falling for an ass like him just isn’t worth it.

4. He doesn’t make time for you.

If he doesn’t want to see you, then don’t risk your heart on him. If you’re begging him to make time for you, then he has all the control. He says he’s too busy because he knows that you’ll wait around for him anyway. If he were actually interested, then he’d make the time to see you because he’d actually consider you important in his life.

5. He’s still hung up on his ex.

You deserve more than to be some guy’s rebound. You shouldn’t start off a relationship feeling like second best. He needs to get over the one that got away before he starts something new with you. If a man’s heart isn’t fully open to you, then save yourself the heartbreak. You don’t want to fall for a man whose heart is still occupied by someone else.

6. You don’t trust him.

Being with a guy you can’t trust will always be more stress than love is worth. Your relationship is just going to be full of doubt and worry. You’ll never believe a word he says, including when he says he loves you. You’ll constantly question him and his feelings because no matter what, without trust, your relationship will never feel secure.

7. Your gut feels like something is off.

Your mind’s telling you no, but your heart is telling you yes, so which one should you listen to? If deep down you have the urge to run, there’s a reason for that. You shouldn’t ignore your intuition. When the right guy comes along, both your head and your heart will agree.

8. He pressures you into sex.

If a man really cares, then he’ll know you’re worth the wait. Sex isn’t a given in any relationship. You need to be ready for a physical relationship, not forced or pressured into one. He might claim that guys can’t live without sex, but that’s completely untrue. If he actually likes you, he’ll be more willing to wait until you’re comfortable enough to take the next step.

9. He plays mind games.

One second you’re mad at him, and the next second you’re the one apologizing. He flirts with other girls to make you jealous. The minute you start moving on and looking at your other options, he’s pulling you back in. Whatever kind of manipulation he’s playing, the drama will only leave you heartbroken.

10. He’s afraid of commitment.

It’s one of the oldest tricks in the book: a man claims he’s afraid of commitment so that he can keep things casual. You’re on the hook thinking that someday he’ll overcome his fear when really, the only fear he has is not being able to have his cake and eat it, too. If a man is really interested, he won’t be afraid to be with you — otherwise, this heartbreaker just isn’t worth the risk.
